Additional Birds at Ala Carte Pricing

Self-guided hunt. Minimum price in birds per hunter:  $150.  Pheasants – $28; Chukar – $20. 

Cleaning fees:   Pheasant – $2.00; and Chukar – $2.00. *A $25 set-up fee will be added.

BIRD HUNT INFORMATION

Bird season starts the first of November and runs to the end of February, depending on bird supply. No more than 3 people in a bird field at a time, due to safety reasons. You must wear the appropriate hunter orange apparel.

You have to have a Kentucky hunting license for hunting at Elk Creek. Licenses can be purchased at Elk Creek Hunt Club.

Hunter Education Requirement

Effective March 1, 1991, all hunters born on or after January 1, 1975 shall while hunting carry a valid hunter education course completion card in addition to the appropriate Kentucky hunting license.

Registration and breakfast starts at 8:30am at the Clubhouse. Safety Talk at 9:00 am. Enter blinds at 9:30am. Coffee/hot chocolate and snack break mid shoot.
Lunch following after shoot at the Clubhouse. Cleaning and packaging of birds, birds will be ready around 1:30pm.
Shooting time may change due to weather conditions.
